How to Survive a Test

Guest speaker Heith Wetzler teaches how the church in 1 Thessalonians was tested by Timothy when he visited them. Just as Timothy tested the church in Thessalonica, God tests each one of us. When God tests us, it is better for us to recognize where we need to grow than to continue on in disobedience to God.

In talking about being tested, Heith said:

• It is better to have our faith tested in this life and be found lacking than it is to die and be judged as lacking.
• A good teacher gives many tests to prepare students for the most important test.
• Are you paying attention to the tests God has been placing before you?
